This studio was designed to service Television Long and Short formats.

The 32 fader Protools ICON D enabled the room to cross the line and be able to mix Independent Features too.

The Genelec monitoring system for the studio was very unique and enabled the room to be the hybrid mix environment it was.

The Genelecs (although they wre nearfield, were, by the flick of a switch, routed through 1/3 octave equalisers to emulate the Dolby EQ curve.

The JBL surrounds and Subwoofer were also routed through the proper delays and EQ's to make a medium size room, sound big.

In keeping with the hybrid concept, many old school outboard gear units were accessible to the Protools using a 56 I/O interface so they

were always available as an insert versus having to be patched in. The Dolby DMU was integrated into the XMON section of the ICON and the

DK Meter was available within that configuration.
