Project Room and VO Booth

This Studio is part of Domicile's larger facility but was built separately as a standalone operation.

The booth is 12' x 12' and has a floating floor with 6 Foley Pits.

The booth walls are double room in a room style with air space between the two, creating a total wall thickness of qpproximately 16"

The ceiling also is floating and seperate from the true ceiling. The entry doors are 2" thick solid wood using an air lock style instalation.

The wall treatment is comprised of multiple layers of sheetrock, mineral fiber and acoustic suede. The coolest part of the walls is that they can be

moved up to 20 degrees on their vertical axis to help eliminate any standing waves, reflections, nodes, or anodes.

The Contol room is also 12' x 12' and has a floating floor.

The system at the moment is a Digi 002 with an Avalon Mic Preamp.

The room is used for Sound Design, Editing, Spot Mixing, ADR, Voice to Picture, Vocal Tracking, Foleys and as a Drum Booth.

It is a great multifunctional room that can have both Video and Audio feeds interconnected to Domicile's main stage .
